It all started in September of 2023 with a flier plastered across the campus of Olympia’s Evergreen State College, a simple poster with a simple request: “GUITARIST WANTED” followed by a phone number. While dozens of students followed the thread, in the end it came down to three musicians unified under the shared goal of playing raw and authentic death metal. Drawing from an eclectic range of influences within extreme music including Mortician, Meshuggah, and Orchid, this student trio is poised to capture the attention of Olympia’s underground music scene.
